Molybdenum is usually selected as an electrode material and is widely used in the manufacture of daily glass, optical glass, thermal insulation materials, glass fiber and other fields.

Application field: machinery manufacturing industrial kiln

The high temperature performance of metal molybdenum makes it the preferred choice of electrode material, but its low high temperature oxidation resistance and weak corrosion resistance for some specific glass components greatly limit the use of molybdenum as a high temperature material. The high antioxidant capacity of the multi-component system based on mo has attracted the attention and research of many experts. xiamen honglu is also committed to the research and development of anti-oxidation coatings made of mo-based multi-component systems. currently, there are two coating preparation methods, thermal spraying and solid package infiltration, available for customers to choose from.

Anti-oxidation coating: improve the oxidation resistance of mo and prevent the molybdenum electrode from being oxidized during the start-up process.

Molybdenum electrode has high high temperature strength, good high temperature oxidation resistance and long service life. Based on these advantages, it is usually used in daily glass, optical glass, thermal insulation materials, glass fiber, rare earth industry and other fields.

The main component of molybdenum electrode is molybdenum, which is made by powder metallurgy process. The internationally used molybdenum electrode has a composition content of 99.95 and a density of more than 10.15g/cm3 to ensure the quality of the glass and the service life of the electrode. Commonly used molybdenum electrode size from 20mm to 152.4mm in diameter, single length can reach 1500mm.

The use of molybdenum electrode to replace the original heavy oil and gas energy can effectively reduce the pollution to the environment and improve the quality of the glass.
