Tungsten and molybdenum are both refractory metals with very high melting points, with tungsten having the highest melting point of all metals. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to effectively cut high melting point refractory metals like tungsten and molybdenum using laser cutting.

Unlike molybdenum, tungsten not only has an extremely high melting point but also possesses very high metal strength, making it a tough challenge for cutting processes.

However, at Mitewei, we have large high-power laser cutting equipment to handle the laser cutting of larger tungsten components.

For smaller precision parts, we have small high-power laser cutting machines that can cut pure tungsten products with a thickness of up to 1mm.

For small parts with a thickness exceeding 1mm, we are equipped with medium wire and slow wire cutting machines, using wire cutting methods for fine cutting processing of products.
